Suspect in Attempted Home Burglary Confronted by Homeowner and Flees

This morning, Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the report of an attempted home burglary.  The suspect ran from the residence when confronted by the homeowner, who was armed.  The suspect is pictured in the photos obtained from a home surveillance camera.

On June 15, 2022, at approximately 9:10 am., Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence in the 7800 block of N. Country Homes Blvd. for the report that a person had just broken into the home.  The caller stated a homeowner was armed and the suspect fled once confronted.  He was last seen jumping a fence and running northwest.

Responding Deputies set up a perimeter and began searching for the suspect as a K9 Unit responded to assist.  The K9 track led to a small access road behind the home and what appeared to be fresh tire tracks leading south toward Country Homes.

This remains an active investigation, and no further information is available at this time.
