Missing Vulnerable Adult: Ryan S. McCollum

 

Spokane Valley Deputies are attempting to locate a missing vulnerable adult, 44-year-old Ryan S. McCollum, and check his welfare.  He was last seen in the afternoon of August 7, 2022, outside his adult care home in the 14000 block of E. 4th Avenue, Spokane Valley.

On August 7, 2022, at approximately 6:10 pm., an employee of Ryan McCollum’s adult residential care facility called to report Ryan S. McCollum as missing.   

 

They stated Ryan S. McCollum was last seen outside the home at approximately 3:00 pm. on the same day.  Ryan has a TBI that causes him to function at a lower juvenile level and impairs his ability to make decisions, communicate well, or care for himself.  This can also make Ryan susceptible to being victimized, and his family and caregivers are worried about his safety.    

 

Ryan S. McCollum is described as a 44-year-old white male, 6’00”, approximately 175 lbs., brown hair, blue eyes, and full beard.   He was last seen wearing a green shirt and blue jeans.  He has tattoos on his arms that may be visible depending on his clothing.

 

He has wandered off several times in the recent past but is usually located within a few days.  He is known to hang out in the downtown core area and stay at homeless encampments/shelters.
