ROAD CONSTRUCTION


Euclid Road Bridge No. 1508 
Removing and constructing new bridge and road approaches; including asphalt pavement, signing, striping, erosion control, filter drain, installing beam guardrail, and miscellaneous structures. Dates: March 1-September 30, 2023.


Euclid Rd: from Bridge #1508 over Burlington Northern Santa Fe tracks to Lyons Rd. Road Closed: Bridge is closed. Use Detour. 


Lincoln Road and Sewer C3286
Project includes a request to bore at Regal and Smith and remove existing peds, place new ped at back of ROW, copper lines dug up to move to new peds in multiple locations along Lincoln Rd., remove pole at Lincoln and Smith. Work is between Crestline St and Market St. Completed: April 4, 2023. https://www.spokanecounty.org/5214/Lincoln-Road-and-Sewer

Flaggers may be present (both directions, all lanes). Flaggers may be present along Lincoln Rd at N Altamont: N Crestline: N Regal: N Smith & N Market


West Terrace Stormwater Project
This contract provides for the improvement of Hayford Road and Richland Road by construction of a storm sewer system. The project includes catch basin, corrugated metal pipe, drop inlet, cutoff wall/pipe anchors, unsuitable pipe foundation, dewatering, and paving. Completed: July 1, 2023. Completed: July 1, 2023.


Richland Rd: from Hayford Rd to Hayford Rd
Lane restrictions (both directions, all lanes). Watch for flaggers

Hayford Rd: from Westbow Rd to Richland Rd
Road CLOSED intersection of Westbow and Hayford. Not closed near Richland.


PRIVATE CONTRACTOR WORK BY PERMIT


2C Well Building and Waterline
City of Spokane is construction a new CMU Wellhouse Building. Miscellaneous work will be done in the County’s Right-of-Way: Water Main/Service repair, excavation, fire hydrant, road crossing, asphalt paving, and grading. Completed: April 3, 2023.

Ivanhoe St: from Holland Av to Wall St
 
Road Closed: Road closure on N Ivanhoe Rd approx. 300LF South of Holland.

 

Access existing vaults
Splicing and placing fiber in existing conduit. Completed: April 6, 2023.

Lyons Rd: from Newkirk Rd to Euclid Rd
 
Lane closed (both directions, all lanes): One lane with two way flaggers on W Newkirk at N Lyons & N Lyons at W Euclid.


Carla Peperzak Middle School
Crosswalk modifications and parking lot construction. Completed: August 15, 2023.

Inset Poles
Inset two new poles at the NE corner of intersection 59th & Hayford. Completed: April 3, 2023. Contact: Avista

Lane closed (northbound, all lanes): Northbound lane of Hayford at intersection


Pole Replacement
Crew to replace rotten service pole on north side of Hastings Rd to the West of Perry St intersection. Completed: March 28, 2023. Contact: Avista


 
Hastings Rd: from Denver Dr to Guinevere Dr
 
Lane closed (westbound, all lanes): Northern westbound lane closure. Flaggers may be present.


MAINTENANCE

Crews are sweeping and grading (depending on road conditions) throughout Spokane County.
