[ARCHIVED] Road construction and maintenance update for April 21-28, 2023.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION


Bigelow Gulch Mitigation
Improvement of the Bigelow Gulch Road Offsite Mitigation site located along Minnie Creek near Fish Lake Regional Park by clearing and grubbing, temporary irrigation, grading, planting and other work. Completed: April 28, 2023.


Brooks Road Reconstruction
Improvement of Brooks Road by reconstruction and widening by clearing and grubbing, roadway excavation, embankment compaction, cement spreading, crushed surfacing, hot mix asphalt, contractor designed underground structure, beam guardrail and other work. Completed: April 28, 2023.


Euclid Road Bridge No. 1508 
Removing and constructing new bridge and road approaches; including asphalt pavement, signing, striping, erosion control, filter drain, installing beam guardrail, and miscellaneous structures. Dates: March 1-September 30, 2023.

Euclid Rd: from Bridge #1508 over Burlington Northern Santa Fe tracks to Lyons Rd. Road Closed: Bridge is closed. Use Detour.


Lincoln Road and Sewer
Project includes improvements to Lincoln Road from Market Street to Crestline Street by replacement of the entire roadway, widening vehicle travel lanes, the addition of stormwater management infrastructure, and moving pedestrians to new locations.

West Terrace Stormwater Project
This project provides for the improvement of Hayford Road and Richland Road with the construction of a storm sewer system. The project includes a catch basin, corrugated metal pipe, drop inlet, cutoff wall/pipe anchors, unsuitable pipe foundation, dewatering, and paving. Completed: July 1, 2023. Completed: July 1, 2023.


Richland Rd: from Hayford Rd to Hayford Rd
Lane restrictions (both directions, all lanes). Watch for flaggers


Hayford Rd: from Westbow Rd to Richland Rd
Road CLOSED intersection of Westbow and Hayford. Not closed near Richland.

47 South Apartments
MJM Grand - (509) 370-2802 crew doing misc. work in the right-of-way from Garden Springs to S. Windsor. Project includes excavation, utilities, asphalt paving and road closure. Completed: April 26, 2023.

Road CLOSED: Abbott Rd closure between Garden Springs & Windsor

Farwell Road Multifamily Apartments
MGM Grand – (509) 370-2802 crew working in the right=of-way at E. Farwell Road between Mayfair and Ruby. Project includes excavation, fire hydrant, sewer/water services and repair, asphalt paving and road closure. Completed: April 28, 2023.

Mead Works

Sewer Construction
