UPDATE: Thanks to Your Help, Female Identified


With the several “tips” received from you, our community, SCIU Detectives identified the female as 25-year-old Erin G. Plunkett (AKA: Novak) and contacted her regarding this investigation.


Through the ongoing investigation, SCIU Detectives developed probable cause to charge Plunkett with Identity Theft/Credit Card Fraud 2nd Degree and Possession of Stolen Property 2nd Degree.  


Plunkett was booked into the Spokane County Jail for the two felony charges noted, and she is expected to appear in court this afternoon.  


This investigation remains open and active.  Additional arrests and charges are possible.  


We want to thank all of you for your continued support and the several “tips” received in this investigation and other cases.  Your ongoing support and assistance are critical to helping us hold people who are out in our community committing crimes accountable.   Your assistance with investigations like this saves time, hours if not days, and we are extremely appreciative.

Detectives Seek to Identify Female - Your Help is Requested 


Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Investigative Unit (SCIU) Detectives are attempting to identify the female in these photos.  Investigators believe she may have knowledge of or could be associated with a string of car prowlings, fraud, and ID theft incidents in our area that they’re currently investigating and would like to contact her.    


Anyone with information regarding the female's identity, where she may be staying, or information that may assist Investigators is asked to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233, reference #10030981.
