Since August 8, 2016, Spokane County Public Works has been engaged in a massive road and stormwater project on Argonne Road between Maringo and Wellesley, impacting traffic flow through the busiest intersection in Spokane County.
Thanks to a break between rain showers today (Thursday, Oct. 6), crews were able to finish striping the new asphalt on Argonne and open all four lanes in time for the evening commute. Motorists should be prepared for intermittent traffic delays over the next few days as crews complete the "finishing touches" on a major project. What's even better news is that the project is finished two weeks ahead of schedule!
