[ARCHIVED] Spokane County Search & Rescue Open House

SAR 2016

Spokane County Search & Rescue (SAR) is looking for qualified Volunteers to attend their Fall Academy. They are holding an Open House for potential new volunteers to learn more about the SAR program and possibly become a member of this life-saving team.

If you would like to consider volunteering your time and effort to Spokane County Search & Rescue, and would like to learn more, please join us at our Open House. We will have a question and answer period, and will discuss the basic expectations, requirements and commitment level required to join this remarkable group of volunteers.

Interested in Volunteering?

** Are you intrigued by tales of wilderness rescues and searches for missing hikers, campers, climbers, etc?

** Do feel at home in the great outdoors?

** Do you want to help your fellow nature lovers and outdoor sports enthusiasts… or just other human beings in general (and sometimes even their pets) who find themselves in unfortunate situations?

Perhaps becoming a Search and Rescue (SAR) volunteer might be for you!

Questions? Contact the SAR Coordinator Deputy Thad Schultz at 509-477-7610 or by email at [email protected].
