Introduction to Women’s Self-Defense DATE/TIME: November 5th, 2016 Saturday 0800-1200 LOCATION: SCSO Training Center 6011 North Chase Road. Newman Lake, WA 99025 COST: $25 (Due at time of registration – see mailing address below) DESCRIPTION: This class is an introduction to Women’s Self-Defense Tactics including deterrents, avoidance, and detection of a personal attack. Class includes hands-on portion where you will learn basic self-defense maneuvers. The Women’s Self-Defense course is open to the public. Be sure to invite your friends/family to this valuable training course. REQUIREMENTS: Note taking material, athletic gear & shoes, water bottle and a towel. INSTRUCTOR: The class will be led by Deputy Darin Powers, from the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office. Deputy Powers is currently a Lead Control/ Defensive Tactics Master Instructor for SCSO. Maximum class size is 20 so register early!
