Can You Help Identify this Armed Robbery Suspect?

Spokane Valley Sheriff’s Investigative Unit Detectives are attempting to identify the Armed Robbery Suspect in these photos.

On November 29, 2016, Spokane Valley Deputies responded to an Armed Robbery call that occurred at approximately 6:10 p.m., at the Taco Time located at 6704 E. Sprague Avenue in Spokane Valley.

An employee told deputies she noticed the suspect standing at the counter and asked him if she could help him.  The suspect handed the employee a note telling her to stay calm and to give him all the money.  She said the suspect had his hand underneath his shirt and was pointing something that resembled a weapon.  Fearing the suspect did have a weapon, she opened the cash register and handed him the money as instructed.

The suspect grabbed the note and fled the restaurant through the west doors facing Thierman Road.

The suspect is described as a white male approximately 5’07”-5’09” tall, heavyset and appeared to be 40-50 years old.  He was wearing a light blue, button down, shirt and a blue baseball style hat with “Hurley” printed on the front.

Anyone who can help identify the suspect in these pictures is asked to call Detective Marc Melville at 509-477-3325.
