[ARCHIVED] Male Stabbed During Fight

The victim confronted Dashevsky after learning his wife had been texting Dashevsky and had a previous intimate relationship with him.

The incident began just after 10:00 p.m., in the parking lot of Timber Creek Buffet located at 9211 E. Montgomery in Spokane Valley. The victim, who had learned about the text messages and previous relationship several days ago, became upset during the day and decided he wanted to confront Dashevsky. He drove to the parking lot of the restaurant to wait for Dashevsky as his wife tried to calm him down.

After more than an hour, Dashevsky exited the restaurant and the victim confronted him. According to witnesses, Dashevsky began hitting the victim and continued to punch and kick him while he was on the ground. Dashevsky fled the scene leaving the victim lying on the ground with injuries to his head and face, as well as a severe stab wound to his abdomen.

Responding deputies located Dashevsky in the parking lot as he tried to flee. Deputies observed blood on Dashevsky’s steering wheel and on his hands. A knife was observed inside his vehicle.

Dashevsky was transported and booked into the Spokane County Jail for Assault 1st Degree.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for his injuries and was listed in serious condition.
