[ARCHIVED] Workshop for Comprehensive Plan Update

Washington State's Growth Management Act requires counties to update their comprehensive plans on a periodic basis.  Spokane County's Comprehensive Plan is scheduled to be updated in 2017 and your input is desired.  The Spokane County Planning Commission has scheduled a public hearing on the update on February 16, 2017.  The hearing will be held in the Board of County Commissioner's Hearing Room, Lower Level, Public Works Building, 1026 W. Broadway Ave., Spokane, WA.  The workshop will begin at 9:00 a.m. or as soon as possible thereafter.  The purpose of the public workshop is to provide for early and continuous public participation by considering public comments regarding the 2017 Update to the Spokane County Comprehensive Plan.  The workshop will provide a presentation on recent activities related to Spokane County's planning efforts and solicit input from the community on their concerns and suggestions for revisions of the Plan.  This is one of the initial steps in determining the full scope of any revisions to the Plan.  The Planning Commission and Planning Department welcome your participation in this workshop.
