[ARCHIVED] Winter Weather Advisory through Wednesday morning.


Winter Weather Advisory
The first of several pacific storm systems will move into the
region today and result in moderate to heavy rain and snow
through Wednesday morning. Heavy snow is expected for the
Washington Cascades, North Idaho Panhandle mountains, and the
Blue mountains.

Spokane Area-Including the following locations Cheney, Davenport, and Rockford

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while
driving.
* Locations...Cheney, Davenport, and Rockford.

* Snow Accumulations...1 to 3 inches.


* Impacts...Roads will be mainly wet through mid-afternoon but as
  snow intensity increases during the late afternoon and early
  evening, roads will become snow covered or slushy above 2000
  feet.
