[ARCHIVED] Officer Down: The Matt Pearce Story

Officer Down: The Matt Pearce Story

Take the time to watch this amazing and emotional video posted by the Fort Worth Police Department (FWPD) one year after FWPD Office Matt Pearce was shot multiple times after a pursuit and foot chase of robbery suspects.

We are so thankful Officer Pearce survived this horrific attack and is recovering.

Thank you to Officer Pearce, your wife Laura, your family and everyone at Fort Worth PD for your service and for opening up to everyone and allowing the HUMAN side of those who wear a badge and their families to be seen.  Your courage and professionalism during this incident, and this video, is inspirational and an example for all in the law enforcement family and the citizens we protect and serve.
