This is a video compilation of clips from footage captured by Air 1’s camera during a flight over the Spokane River and areas affected by flooding last Wednesday afternoon. March 22, 2017
Please pay attention to the banks of the river where the fast moving water has overflowed the river’s actual channel and is now rushing through the trees, brush and other obstructions. With the pressure of the rushing river coupled with these obstructions “straining” the frigid water, the large amount of floating debris (full grown trees washed from shore in some cases) and submerged obstructions, on, in or near the Spokane River is extremely dangerous.
