[ARCHIVED] Used Oil, Gas & Automotive Fluids

CasiteOilFortifier

Used motor oil can be recycled as long as it has not been mixed or contaminated with gasoline, antifreeze or other hazardous wastes. Also, crude-based products like transmission fluid, hydraulic fluid, gear lube oils and metalworking oils can be mixed together and recycled. Residents can bring automotive fluids in a sealed and labeled five gallon or smaller container to the Household Hazardous Waste area at the Transfer Stations on Saturday & Sunday or any day at the Waste to Energy Facility for free recycling or disposal.

For businesses that generate small quantities of hazardous waste or residents with over five gallons of hazardous waste, call 509-202-7397 for disposal costs and to schedule a drop-off appointment at the Transfer Stations on Saturdays & Sundays.
