CONSTRUCTION and CLOSURES

Euclid Rd Bridge Closure
Euclid Rd Bridge Closure. In June, two critical failures were found in the substructure. Public Works closed access to the bridge, which is the property of Burlington Northern Railway.

     Euclid Rd: from Bridge #1508 Over BNSF to Lyons Rd
     Road closed until further notice.
 
Geiger Boulevard - Hayford Road to Soda Road
Improvement of Geiger Road, roadway excavation, curb, drywells, signing, signals. Completed 04/30/20.

     Hayford Rd: from 53rd Av to Geiger Bv
     Flaggers may be present (both directions, all lanes). The road is open while shoulder  work continues. There is a four-way stop at Geiger & Hayford until the signal is operational.

     Geiger Bv: from Hayford Rd to Thomas Mallen Rd
     Flaggers may be present (both directions, all lanes). The road is open while shoulder work continues. There is a four-way stop at Geiger & Hayford until the signal is operational.

     Geiger Bv: from Thomas Mallen Rd to Soda Rd
     The road is closed to through traffic this winter. A detour is in place using Hayford, 53rd and Electric. Amazon employees/vendors have access via Thomas Mallen & Geiger.

Mead Mt. Spokane Sewer - Phase 2
Sewer work in the area of Market and Yokes where pre-project/private utility work is underway. The project will shut down for winter on December 13, 2019.

     Market St: from SR-206 (Mt Spokane Park Dr) to SR-206 (Mt Spokane Park Dr)
     Flaggers may be present (both directions, all lanes).

     Yale Rd: from SR-206 (Mt Spokane Park Dr) to Orchid Av
     Flaggers may be present (both directions, all lanes).

Mead-Mt. Spokane Sewer
Lane Park from Medina to Black – the road is open. Watch for crews doing shoulder work. The project will shut down for winter on December 13, 2019.

     Freya St: from Moody Rd to Day-Mt Spokane Rd
     Flaggers may be present (both directions, all lanes).

     Ferrall St: from Lane Park Rd to Lane Park Rd
     Flaggers may be present (both directions, all lanes).

     Moody Rd: from Freya St to US-2 (Newport Hy)
     Flaggers may be present (both directions, all lanes).

     Moody Rd: from Ferrall St to Chesapeake Rd
     Flaggers may be present (both directions, all lanes).

     Freya St: from Lane Park Rd to Lane Park Rd
     Flaggers may be present (both directions, all lanes): Freya from Lane Park to Highland Rd (local access only) - detour in place.

     Black Rd: from Lane Park Rd to Emerald Av
     Flaggers may be present (both directions, all lanes). The road is open to local traffic only.

     Walker Av: from US-2 (Newport Hy) to Black Rd
     Flaggers may be present (both directions, all lanes). The road is open to local traffic only.

PRIVATE CONTRACTOR WORK BY PERMIT

ROCKWOOD AT WHITWORTH PHASE 1 (WALKER CONSTRUCTION)
ROCKWOOD AT WHITWORTH PHASE 1 - INCLUDES ROUGH & FINE GRADING, SEWIER AND WATER INSTALLATION, UTILITIES, STORM DRAINAGE, DRIVEWAY, SIDEWALK, CURB & GUTTER INSTALLATION AS PER APPROVED PLANS.

     Mayberry Dr: from Hawthorne Rd to Humboldt Dr
     ROAD CLOSED through April 1, 2020.

MAINTENANCE
(Road maintenance projects are subject to change due to weather conditions and other road maintenance priorities)
During the months of winter, please stay at least 50-feet behind snow removal equipment – and NEVER attempt to pass on the right.
