Snow and Rain Mix on Friday - Mild and Dry Next Week
Crews applying deicer and will return to repairing potholes
SPOKANE COUNTY, February 4, 2022 – Today might be a good time to refill your windshield wiper fluid, because there is a mix of snow and rain in the forecast. It won’t amount to much, perhaps an inch of snow at higher elevations. In advance of the storm, county road crews are applying deicer to known trouble spots (hills, curves, bridges). Fortunately, a high pressure system moves over the area this weekend and will bring us an extended period of dry, mild weather.
This is great news for our road crews. A dry weather pattern for the coming week will allow them to return to cleaning culverts and ditches, cutting back vegetation and…patching potholes! To report a pothole, either call (509) 477-3600 during regular business hours – or go to Pothole Reporting and fill out the form.
