Switch to Winter Hours of Operation
SPOKANE COUNTY, November 3, 2022 – The North and Valley Transfer Stations have made the switch to their Winter Hours of Operation which will continue through the end of March 2023.
Hours of Operation
Winter Hours (November 1 through March 31):
7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday - Sunday
Seasonal Hours (April 1 through October 31):
7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday - Sunday
All facilities are closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day,
Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas.
Current Rate (Fees)
Trash/Garbage:
- Minimum Fee (280 lbs or less): $17.00 (this includes a $2 Environmental Programs Charge (EPC) per vehicle).
- Garbage per ton: $112.00 (a $2 EPC is added per vehicle).
- There is a 3.05% charge included for all credit/debit card and eCheck payments.
Clean Green and Yard Waste Debris:- Minimum Fee (300 lbs or less): $10.00 (this includes a $2 Environmental Programs Charge (EPC) per vehicle).
- Clean Green/Yard Waste Debris per ton: $54.00 (a $2 EPC is added per vehicle).
- There is a 3.05% charge included for all credit/debit card and eCheck payments.
