Bike Swap Donates $26,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters

  
SPOKANE COUNTY, May 31, 2018 – The results of the 2018 Spokane Bike Swap are in and the numbers are impressive.  With more volunteers, more attendees and hundreds of bikes sold – organizers are pleased to report that the annual event raised $26,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Northwest! 

This year’s results are also a good sign that the one-day event continues to grow in popularity:

  • More than 2,600 attendees.
  • 130 wonderful volunteers!
  • 596 bikes sold.
  • Total proceeds - $34,000 ($8,000 more than in 2017).
  • $26,000 donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Northwest.
  • $8,000 seed money for the 2019 event.
