SPOKANE COUNTY, May 31, 2019 – Along with the weather the road construction season is heating up. Please watch for flaggers, signs and slow down in work zones.

CONSTRUCTION

Aero-Westbow (West Plains)
Adding a roundabout Paving to start the week of 5/27

Aero Rd: from Westbow Rd to Westbow Rd
Road Closed: The South Leg of the roundabout will be closed starting June 3rd. Detours in place. Lane Restrictions, expect delays.

Bigelow Gulch 4
Clearing and grubbing, house demolition, adding culverts, guardrail and pavement

Bigelow Gulch Rd: from Argonne Rd to Evergreen Rd
Flaggers May Be Present (Both Directions, All Lanes): REDUCED SPEED LIMIT 35mph. There will be lane restrictions. Construction activity on South side of existing Bigelow Gulch

Carnahan & Glenrose
Installing a new Roundabout, removing asphalt concrete pavement, roadway excavation

Glenrose Rd: from Carnahan Rd to 21st Av
Lane Restrictions (Both Directions, All Lanes): 21st Ave is local access only. Work continues on the 1st Phase (Northeast of the existing intersection). Trucks will be entering roadway.

Transit Stop Crosswalk Safety Project
Improvement of transit stop and crosswalk safety for Wall St and 57th Ave by installing marked crosswalks with refuge islands, transit stop landing improvement

57th Av: from Regal Rd to Regal Rd
Lane Restrictions (Both Directions, All Lanes): Sidewalk work, lane restrictions. Expect delays.

INSTALL COUNTY SEWER - LITTLE SPOKANE DRIVE SEWER EXTENSION & INVERTED SIPHON
ROAD CLOSED, local access only. No through traffic.

Little Spokane Dr: from Little Spokane Ln to Shady Slope Rd
Road closed for paving.
