Camping in the backcountry is restricted to the area around Camp Hughes Cabin at the top of the Liberty Lake Loop Trail. Camping is prohibited in all other areas, including the Cedar Grove. Backcountry campers shall comply with Leave No Trace principles. Camping is prohibited within 100' feet of existing streams and creeks. Campers shall utilize existing sites to limit impact to natural resources. Fires are prohibited. Please note: The Camp Hughes outhouse is in the process of being replaced. There is currently no outhouse. Please use best management practices for disposing of waste / toilet paper.
I acknowledge that I have read the above rules and agree to comply with them.
Liberty Lake Regional Park is a wild place with risks inherent to wilderness areas. Spokane County does not guarantee the condition of the trails. Trails may be muddy, icy or blocked with blow downs. Use at your own risk.
I acknowledge that I have read the above and agree to hold Spokane County harmless.
