Chandra Fox is a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) and joined Spokane County Department of Emergency Management (DEM) in April of 2017. Ms. Fox has had 20 years of Emergency Management experience including being a contract instructor with the Emergency Management Institute and a WA State certified NIMS/ICS Instructor. Her background includes 15 years as Coordinator for the Emergency Services Coordination Agency, serving a population of 190,000 in ten (10) cities. During that time, her duties included all aspects of emergency management programming.

In 2014 Ms. Fox deployed to the SR530 Mudslide Incident (DR-4168) where, as part of the Debris Task Force, she was responsible for the creation of the Personal Belongings Reunification Program, recovering and caring for over 2000 items for survivor's as well as victim's families.

Ms. Fox is active in both the WA State Emergency Management Association (WSEMA) and the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) and has served as IAEM Region X President. Ms. Fox holds a BA from the University of Puget Sound (Tacoma, WA) and received her Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) credential in 2007.
